Lost in the World
1. The general premise of the video is to show that people are so engrossed with their phones, social media and certain standards that they loose themselves in a fake reality. If this doesn't stop it could potentially cause the demise of things that make up life and ultimately loose who they are.
2. The video in conveying its intended message is effective. The video shows what is currently happening in the world as we are becoming a society that revolves around technology and social media. It makes the viewer more aware of what is going on and that they may also be contributing to the situation.
3. I feel that it is more of an examination of our social situation. I feel this way because there are a lot of scenes showed in the video like the dating reality, eating out at restaurants and everything being recorded on phones instead of experiencing it, that I have seen in real life and know is happening currently. Therefore I see it as an examination of our society currently and how it is easy to become lost in the world.
