Photographer interview- Brooke Shaden

1. Brooke Shaden

2.  Since high school

3. Conceptual fine art style

4. Picked it up in high school but didn't like it until college.

5. The ability to tell a story.

6. Tries to convey that anyone anywhere can take photos and be inspired.

7. Yes she discusses her failure when she first started photography and how she learned she was better at shooting people instead of inanimate objects.

8. She was not inspired by photographers but mostly painters and film makers. She looked at Gregory Crueson (??) photography- anything cinematic looking she found inspiration from.

9. Not really she just talks about black and white photography.

10. She discusses film and how it helped her tell stories in her photos.

11. She wants to eventually create enough cinematic images to create a film. Also, she loves to inspire people with different unusual stories.

12. I find it compelling that she tries to always tell a story in her photos and that she struggled with photography at the beginning but she took a break and realized WHY photography was important to her.
